About Murlune

Last updated October 28, 2026

Murlune brings back something we lost: talking to a stranger. The person beside you on a night bus, someone you will never see again, and yet, for a few stops, you tell each other things you have told no one.

Why it exists

Some things are easier to tell a stranger. A stranger does not know your family, your work or your past, so you can say the thing as it is.

The hardest part is the first word. Murlune gives you ways in that do not need one: a bottle set adrift, tonight’s question, half a sentence. When you do talk, gentle opening lines and a deck of questions help you begin.

Many people now pour their hearts out to chatbots. Murlune is for the moments you want a real person on the other side. No AI ever plays the listener.

Nothing moves closer unless you both choose it

Every step is a choice both of you make. You let it out. A stranger may write back. Only if you both want to, you talk. Only if you both press keep, you stay in each other’s nights, still under a nickname.

Either of you can leave, block or report at any moment.

What we will not build

No likes, no followers, no public leaderboards, no streaks. No real photos and no names. No selling what you write.

Murlune is run as a non-profit community project, for adults only.
