Terms
Last updated October 28, 2026
By using Murlune you agree to these terms. They are short, because the rules are simple: be kind, stay anonymous, and look after each other.
Who can use Murlune
You must be 18 or older. One person, one device identity.
What Murlune is, and is not
Murlune is peer support between strangers. The people who write back are not therapists, doctors or counsellors, and nothing here is professional advice. Murlune is not a crisis service; if you are in danger, contact your local emergency number or a helpline.
Be kind
Do not harass, threaten, shame or pressure anyone. No hate, no sexual content, no spam or advertising.
Do not try to find out who someone is, and do not share anything that could identify you or anyone else: names, addresses, phone numbers, social accounts or photos.
Our community guidelines say more, with examples.
Your words
What you write stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people Murlune carries it to, only to run the service, and for as long as described on the privacy page.
When rules are broken
We may hold back or remove what someone wrote, end conversations, or close the river to a device. The person sees the reason.
The service
Murlune is offered free and as it is. Parts of the river may pause or change, and we may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes.
